The Beginning: 2009–2010 In 2009, PT. Universal Teknologi Internasional was established with a vision to become a leader in the technology industry, gadget accessories, and software and application development, aiming to provide innovative and functional solutions to meet the needs of modern consumers. This vision was born from the realization that the digital world was rapidly evolving, and there was a need to create products that could enhance the user experience of technology and gadgets more efficiently.
In its first year of operations, the company began its journey with a small yet passionate team of young professionals who shared a great passion for technology. The company's main focus at this stage was conducting research and development to understand market gaps and design products that catered to the needs of increasingly tech-savvy consumers. This effort resulted in the development of accessories that not only worked efficiently but were also designed with advanced, user-friendly technology. The company also successfully developed several systems and applications to support the needs of various businesses and SMEs.
Growth and Brand Expansion: 2011–2015 As market demand grew rapidly, PT. Universal Teknologi Internasional expanded its operations in 2011. During this period, the company introduced various in-house brands tailored to different market segments. Each brand had its own identity and value proposition, reflecting the innovation and quality upheld by UNITI. Some of the key brands launched during this period included:
GSOL: A versatile mobile accessory brand providing solutions for users with various functional needs. GETSO: Focused on smart gadgets and audio products that deliver a more advanced technological experience. UNIPHONE: Specialized in mobile protection and utility, ensuring devices are always protected and optimized for maximum use. UNIGET: A brand for practical and efficient everyday accessories. JOTECH: Performance-focused technology tools with products designed to meet the needs of professionals and high-performance users. IDEV: Sleek and modern designs aimed at digital users who prioritize aesthetics. IGETS: A brand centered on the youth lifestyle, with products that reflect the latest trends. NIJO: Minimalist accessories designed for users seeking premium products with elegant and simple designs.
Each brand brought its own color and identity, creating a strong and diverse portfolio that established UNITI as a key player in the gadget accessory industry.
Innovation and Technology: 2016–2020 By 2016, PT. Universal Teknologi Internasional further strengthened its commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation. As technology advanced, the company invested in developing products using the latest materials and technologies, such as GaN (Gallium Nitride) charging technology, which is more efficient and environmentally friendly, and EPU Hydrogel screen protectors that offer superior protection for digital devices.
Additionally, products such as the EPU Hydrogel SIGNATURE PRO-TECH and NANOTECH+ variants, as well as the GAN CHARGER charging collection and other products, received widespread appreciation in the market for their proven quality, innovative designs, and exceptional reliability. During this period, the company focused not only on product quality but also on enhancing the user experience, providing practical solutions integrated with other devices in the IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystem.
As part of its expansion strategy, UNITI also began to extend its distribution network to international markets, forging strategic partnerships with renowned retailers and global e-commerce platforms. This collaboration helped the company gain recognition in global markets and strengthen its position in Southeast Asia and beyond.
Participating in International Events: 2016–2023 To introduce its best products to the world, PT. Universal Teknologi Internasional began participating in various international events related to technology and innovation. Events such as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and IFA Berlin became key platforms for the company to showcase its flagship products. At these events, UNITI not only introduced the latest technologies but also built stronger relationships with distributors, business partners, and consumers worldwide. Participation in international events also provided UNITI with valuable feedback from the global market and allowed the company to continually adapt to changing technology trends and consumer needs. These achievements further strengthened UNITI's reputation as an innovative player ready to compete on the global stage.
Present and Future: 2024 and Beyond As of now, PT. Universal Teknologi Internasional has accumulated over 15 years of experience and notable achievements. UNITI is not only recognized in the domestic Indonesian market but also in international markets as a brand that prioritizes quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
